Dayton Business Journal has the scoop on a new initiative at Ryder System Inc. The Journal reports the company is designing new big rigs with a female friendly focus, due to the rising number of women truck drivers. Read an excerpt from the article below:

The Miami-based commercial transportation company is working on new designs with  Women In Trucking, a nonprofit organization that encourages the employment of women in the trucking industry. Ryder said the goal is to improve working conditions and safety for female truck drivers.
